The skeletal system is a complicated thing it can help with other systems, it can have diseases, there is 206 in a full grown human body, and they create something you probably wouldn’t think they did. The skeletal system helps cardio vascular, muscular, and nervous system. Our bones are very strong so they protect the spinal cord and brain from most of all impacts we will encounter in life. There are many bones in a full adults body, but a few important ones are the skull to protect the brain, backbone to helps us do activities, ribs to protect the lungs, and the vertebrae it corresponds to the backbone. The intriguing thing though is that though the average adult body has many bones a baby has more because as we get older some of our bones will fuse with another bone. Also with every part of the body you can get diseases in them so it is no surprise that there can be diseases in the skeletal system. A few diseases are like arthritis, scoliosis, and spine bifida. Some of the diseases in the bones though just occur as you get older but sometimes there is a bigger problem than your body getting frail and weak from old age.
